Taking the guesswork out of choosing a hotel was a primary concern for us for all of our out-of-town guests, so obviously we’ve blocked two amazing hotels for the event. One of which is the very same building our wedding reception will be in, so bonus! Both hotels are within a very short walking distance of each other and both provide a free shuttle service that takes you within a 2-mile radius.

The Astor is the place to be! Room rates are discounted for our guests, and best of all, it’s the site of the wedding reception, held in the Astor Ballroom Our discounted room rates are about $89 to $109 plus 15% hotel tax.

We’ve blocked 15 rooms at a discounted rate for November 1st and 2nd, but they will go fast, and you must book by October 1st.

The Knickerbocker Hotel is another sweet throwback to the 1920s with an even sweeter lake view. Rooms are between $110 and $130 per night plus about 15% hotel tax.

The County Clare Irish Guesthouse & Pub is another hotel on the adjacent block that features awesome Irish-themed dining and beer. We recently found out it’s also a 29-room hotel with open concept rooms featuring double whirlpool tubs in the $130 range which includes breakfast! This is a possible option should the other hotels fill up.
